The Rev. Tim Sean Youmans will be sharing stories of his faith journey interwoven with songs he has written. He is the head chaplain and Instructor of Theology at Casady School, an Episcopal Day School in Oklahoma City, OK. He also serves as Clergy Associate for Liturgy and Teaching at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City. Fr. Youmans grew up an American Baptist in the mountains of Wyoming and served as a Baptist youth minister for twenty years before becoming an Episcopal Priest. He has a B.S. in Literature from Oklahoma Baptist University and an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tim Sean did his Anglican studies toward the priesthood at Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin. Fr. Tim Sean works at cultivating the intersection of sacramental ritualistic Christianity with the heartfelt spirituality of the best of the evangelical tradition. He is married to Karen DeMent Youmans, Associate Professor English at Oklahoma City University and they have a teenage son, Noah Seamus. Tim Sean is also a songwriter and plays the banjo.
